In January 2020, Superintendent Scott Brabrand visited Lynbrook to learn about our attendance program. 

Schools traditionally reach out to parents to encourage attendance but, several years ago, Lynbrook also began using student engagement as a tool to reduce absenteeism. The program focuses on showing students that they are important, and they are missed when they don’t come to school.
