Engaging After-School Programs

Students can explore their passions through a variety of after-school clubs: Chess, Girls on the Run, Math & Science Olympiad, Academic Enrichment, and Soccer.

Our Fabulous Staff

We celebrate our talented teachers and staff! They utilize innovative teaching practices and are dedicated to helping all students succeed. Most recently we celebrated Maggie Perez-Rives, Family Learning Center Coordinator who was named the Region 6 Outstanding Operational Employee for 2024.

Family Learning Center

Our Family Learning Center provides parents and guardians with resources and support to actively engage in their children's education. This fosters a strong school-community partnership.

Celebrating Traditions - Lenny Day

Every year in March we celebrate Lenny Day, a fun-filled day dedicated to school spirit with our mascot Lenny the Leprechaun, and building community through unique activities and traditions.

Special Events

Some of our special events include celebrating Veterans Day to honor our service members and Career Day to introduce students to a variety of professions. These interactive events inspire curiosity, respect, and excitement as students explore future career possibilities.

Advanced Academics in 3rd Grade

We offer full-time Advanced Academics, starting in 3rd grade, challenging students with rigorous and enriching learning experiences.

Attendance Success Story

Through targeted initiatives, we have reduced chronic absenteeism from 28% to 12%, demonstrating our commitment to student success and well-being. This is a testament to our culture of belonging, where every student wants to come to school every day because they feel welcomed and eager to experience a joyful and engaging school day.

6th Grade Leadership Institute 

In partnership with the Lewis High School Leadership Program, our 6th Grade Leadership Institute prepares our students to become future leaders through mentorship and skill-building workshops.

Our Lynbrook Leprechauns are a unique community that celebrates diversity. A 6th-grade student shared, “I love coming to school every day, we have a lot of fun learning and becoming leaders.” We are proud to foster an environment where every student feels valued and excited to grow together!
