Dear Lynbrook Families,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving Break, Mrs. Cimino, Mr. Jones, Mr. Paredes, the Lynbrook Staff, and I want to express how thankful we are for your patience and support this school year. We are grateful for your partnership as we explored virtual instruction , and for working together to have such a strong past 12 weeks of school for your children. We hope your Thanksgiving break is joyful, and you get some time to spend with family and friends whether virtual or in person. From our home to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

As a friendly reminder, Monday,  November 30th will be an Asynchronous day of learning for all Lynbrook students. Classes will resume on Tuesday, December 1st. We look forward to seeing all of our Lynbrook Leprechauns then !

With deepest gratitude,

Mrs. Sain

Hello Lynbrook Families,

We have had a fabulous start to virtual learning! It was so wonderful to see our Lynbrook Leprechaun’s logging into instruction throughout the week. We had an opportunity to pop into all of our Pre-K through 6th grade classes and it was incredibly  apparent that students were excited to be back in school! Teachers will continue to work with your child on building classroom communities, navigating new technology resources, and introducing new grade level curriculum.

We want to share our deepest thanks for partnering with us and making this virtual launch such a success. We could not have done it without your support and positivity! We also realize we are asking a lot of you, so again thank you! Our partnership has never been more important as we begin our first school year online. We will continue to ask you as few questions over the next few weeks:

·         What is going well?

·         How is distance learning going for your family?

·         What are your needs?

It is our hope that by continuing this dialogue on these questions, we will be better able to support you and your child .

Additionally please continue to check our Twitter and Facebook feeds over the next few weeks to see the many engaging learning opportunities your child has been participating in.

Looking forward to another amazing week!

Ms. Sain, Ms. Cimino, Mr. Jones and Mr. Paredes
