End of Year SMARTR Outcome #1

  • All students in grades 3-6 will achieve a pass rate of at least 85% as indicated on the spring 2018 Reading SOL.
  • There will be a reduction in the fail rate of students in gap group 1 and 3 by at least 10% on the spring 2018 Reading SOL in grades 3-6.
  • There will be a 10% reduction of students who are not meeting benchmarks in grades K-2.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome #2

  • All students in grades 3-6 will achieve a pass rate of at least 94% as indicated on the Spring 2018 Math SOL.
  • Gap group 3 students will achieve a pass rate of at least 70% on the spring 2018 Math SOL.
  • There will be a reduction in the fail rate of students in gap group 1 and 3 by at least 10% on the spring 2018 Math in grades 3-6.
  • There will be a 10% reduction of students who are not making benchmark in grades K-2.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome #3

  • All students in grade 5 will achieve a pass rate of at least a 77% as indicated on the spring 2018 Science SOL, authentic assessments, or division assessments.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome #4

  • All students in grade 4 will achieve a pass rate of at least a 95% as indicated on the spring 2018 VA Studies SOL, authentic assessments, or district assessments.

Strategy 1

  • Staff will use ongoing student data to plan small group instruction within a workshop model.

Strategy 2

  • Staff will intentionally plan and facilitate peer-to-peer academic conversation which leads to the co-construction of learning.

Strategy 3

  • Staff will design and implement increased opportunities for all students to engage in high level tasks.
